A propos de cette œuvre

Cette adaptation animée reprend assez fidèlement la trame du roman, en y ajoutant le personnage de Bernadette, qui n'est autre que la nièce de Conseil. On peut également noter la surprenante présence d'un Ned Land noir. A la fin du dessin animé, on apprend que la défunte fille du capitaine Nemo était prénommée Nadia, sympathique clin d'oeil à la fabuleuse série japonaise Nadia et le secret de l'eau bleue.
